Lady Indians survive at Coahoma, 60-57

CLARKSDALE – The Lady Indians survived a scare against Coahoma to remain in the chase for the North Division crown with a 60-57 win over the Lady Tigers.

After only scoring 5 points in the second quarter, the Lady Indians doubled up Coahoma, 24-12, to take a 44-38 into the final frame. The Lady Tigers stormed back in the fourth quarter by outscoring ICC, 19-16, but the Lady Indians took care of business from the free throw line to escape with the win.

Tabreea Gandy scored a team-high 22 points with Whitney Watkins adding 10 points in the win.

Coahoma's Jurnee McLaurin led all scorers with 23 points.
