Lady Indians beat Northeast, 76-58

Fulton, Miss. – In their second meeting with the rival Lady Tigers of Northeast, the Lady Indians had five players score in double digits on their way to a 76-58 victory.

The Lady Indians (15-3, 7-1 MACJC North) took the lead for good five minutes into the contest and held a 39-24 lead at halftime.

In the second half, the Lady Indians continued to pull away and shot 40.9 percent from the floor for the game.

Kealy Wilson (Olive Branch) lead the Lady Indians with 15 points, followed by Tabreea Gandy (Starkville) with 14. Scarlett Guess (Blue Mountain), Whitney Watkins (Decautr, Ala.) and Mariah Holland (Oxford) all finished with 11 points each.

The Lady Indians have a bye date Thursday and will return to action Monday, Feb. 10 when they host Mississippi Delta at 5:30 p.m. The North Division battle will be available on LetsGoICCTV.com/red.
