Lady Indians win big at Motlow

Lynchburg, Tenn. – In the third game of their four game road trip, ICC won big Monday night defeating Motlow State, 76-47.

The Lady Indians (3-1) struggled from the floor in the first quarter, but trailed by only three, 13-10, heading into the second frame.

By the end of the second, the Lady Indians had taken and extended their lead to 34-24.

In the second half, the Lady Indians pulled away and outscored the Lady Bucks 25-8 in the third quarter and cruised to the 76-47 victory.

Sophomore guard Whitney Watkins (Decatur, Ala.) led the Lady Indians with 18 points, followed by freshman guard Zuri Dunlap (Hernando) with 12 points and freshman guard Tatyana Norment (Forrest City, Ark.) with 10 points.

The Lady Indians will wrap up their long road stretch Thursday when they travel to West Memphis, Ark. For a matchup against Arkansas State University's Mid-South Community College. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
