Lady Indians roll over Huntingdon

MONTGOMERY, ALA. – The Lady Indians held the Lady Hawks JV team of Huntingdon College to four points in the fourth quarter to improve to 2-0 on the season with an 87-39 win on Thursday night.

ICC saw Huntingdon battle its way to a 17-15 lead by the end of the third quarter before finding their rhythm in the second quarter behind five points from Tabreea Gandy (Starkville) and four from Kealy Wilson (Olive Branch). The Lady Indians stretch the lead out to 58-35 in the third quarter before cruising to the 48-point victory.

Wilson finished with a game-high 18 while Gandy added 16 points. Tatyana Norment (Forrest City, Ark.) scored a career-high 12 points.

The Lady Indians will return to the DEC on Monday to face Gadsden State (Ala.) at 5:30 p.m. The game will be available on LetsGoICCTV.com/red.
