Lady Indians' rally comes up short at Gadsden State

Gadsden, Ala. – The Lady Indians' fourth quarter rally came up short in their 79-66 loss at Gadsden State on Tuesday.

The Lady Indians fell behind 45-24 at halftime after being outscored 20-8 in the second quarter by the Lady Cardinals. ICC found their rhythm offensive in the fourth quarter to outscore Gadsden State 26-17 but the first half deficit was too much for the Lady Indians to overcome.

Shaniyah Buford (Abbeville) led all scorers with 31 points while Zaria Jenkins (Columbus) and Kaylyn Wilson (Columbus) added 10 points each in the loss.

Morgan Frazier led three Lady Cardinals scoring in double digits with 19 points.

ICC will return to the hardwood after the Thanksgiving Break when they take on Snead State (Ala.) on Tuesday, November 27 at the DEC.
