ICC redshirt freshman Jaleigha Polk signs to continue her career at Rust College.
Polk averaged 6.9 points per game while shooting 43.5 percent in her red-shirt freshman season. The Tupelo native scored a career-high 15 points and a season-best five rebounds in the Lady Indians' 91-56 win over Southern University-Shreveport.
The 5-foot-3 guard played in 19 games last season, shot a team-high 47.8 percent from three-point land and recorded 24 assists and 27 rebounds. Rust College is a NCAA Division III school and are a part of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference.
