FULTON, Miss. – The Itawamba Community College women's basketball team has qualified for the 2018 MACJC State Tournament and will face Jones County Junior College in the opening round.

After wrapping up the regular season with a 91-59 win over Northwest Mississippi Community College Thursday night, the Lady Indians (14-7, 8-4 MACJC North) appeared to have a shot at being the No. 3 seed from the North Division, but due to tiebreakers, they remained at No. 4.

As the No. 4 seed, the Lady Indians drew the South Division Champions and the nationally ranked Lady Bobcats (20-3, 11-1 MACJC South). The Two teams met earlier this season in Fulton with the Lady Bobcats picking up a slim 75-71 victory.

The Lady Indians will square off with the Lady Bobcats Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 2:00 p.m. in Senatobia.
