Lady Indians rally from 25 to beat Mid-South, 77-76

FULTON, Miss. - The Lady Indians (6-4, 0-1 MACJC North) trailed by 25 midway through the third quarter before rallying to pick up an impressive come-from-behind win on a lay-up by Taneshia Miller (Greenville) in the final seconds of the game.

Trailing 76-75 with 6.1 seconds left to play, Eryka Williams (Starkville) drove baseline and drew a pair of defenders before finding a wide open Miller on the backside for the easy lay-up with 2.4 seconds on the clock. Mid-South (8-7) took a timeout to advance the ball to mid-court but the Lady Indians' forced the Lady Greyhounds into a turnover as time expire to hold on for the thrilling victory.

Miller led the Lady Indians with 17 points with Constance Dunn (Fulton) added 15 and Lauren Fitch (Decatur, AL) had 14 points and 6 assists in the win.

ICC is scheduled to travel to Mississippi Delta Community College on Tuesday and host Coahoma Community College on Thursday.
