FULTON, Miss. – The Lady Indians opened MACJC North Division play with a 58-52 loss to the Holmes Lady Bulldogs on Monday.
The Lady Indians (4-4, 0-1 MACJC North) clawed their way to a 29-28 halftime lead. The Lady Bulldogs (5-3, 1-0 MACJC North) outscored ICC 14-12 in the third quarter to take a 42-41 lead before pulling away for the 58-52 win.
Lauren Fitch (Decatur, AL) paced the Lady Indians with a game-high 16 and Eryka Williams (Starkville) added 12 points in the loss.
Kamelia Lacy led the Lady Bulldogs with 12 points.
