Hatcher, Toney named to All-Tournament Team

CLINTON, MS - Marlee Hatcher and Erika Toney were named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 23 All-Tournament team after helping lead the Lady Indians to their third region title in four seasons.
Hatcher averaged 12.6 points and 3.6 rebounds for the tournament.
The freshman from Pontotoc drilled five three-pointers and scored 17 points in the Lady Indians' quarterfinal victory over Southwest. She followed up her stellar performance with an 11-point effort against Baton Rouge before tossing in 10 points in the championship game against Co-Lin.
Toney averaged 11.6 points and 10 rebounds in Clinton.
The sophomore from Horn Lake turned in double-double performances in the first two games of the tournament. She scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds against Southwest and tossed in 12 points and collected 11 rebounds against Baton Rouge.
Toney knocked down a free throw in the final seconds of the championship game to put the Lady Indians up by four and help secure the victory. She finished the game with nine points and nine rebounds.
