POPLAR BLUFF, MO – The Lady Indians came up on the short end of the stick in a 69-67 loss at Three Rivers Community College (MO) on Monday.

Jasmine Golden (Olive Branch) made a lay-up to tie the game, 67-67, with 6.1 seconds left on the clock. Three Rivers inbounded the ball and dribbled the length of the floor, missed a shot, and was fouled on the rebound with 4.4 seconds left in the game.

Aaryanna Cook made a pair of free throws to put the Lady Raiders up by two.

Golden picked the ball up a few feet shy of midcourt and missed a rushed three-point attempt despite 4.4 seconds remaining after the free throws.

Cook led all scorers with 20 points and Marissa Webb added 14 in the win.

Lytia Coleman (Memphis, TN) had her eighth double-double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Lady Indians.

ICC will host Northeast Mississippi Community College on Thursday, January 30 with the Lady Indians tipping off at 6:00 p.m. and the Indians scheduled to follow at 8:00 p.m.
