FULTON, MS – Itawamba Community College will host their first-ever "Pack the House Night" on Thursday, February 6 against Northwest Mississippi Community College in support of their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night.

"This is always a special night for our program," said Coach Nanci Gray. "We are really proud that the Community Relations Department pushing to make this year's event one of the biggest nights we've had since we started our Breast Cancer Awareness games."

All breast cancer survivors and their families will receive free admission and are encouraged to wear pink while sitting in the stands behind the home bench. The Lady Indians will wear pink uniforms in honor of the lives that have been touched by breast cancer.

ICC Alumni Association will host Alumni Night in conjunction with the event. All current members of the ICC Alumni Association will receive free admission to the games when they present a valid membership card at the door.

"We have a great group of alumnus that have been a big part of the college's growth and success through the Alumni Association," said ICC Alumni Association Director Mark Todd. "We want to say thanks by letting them enjoy a free night of basketball on such a special night for the college."  

ICC Foundation is sponsoring Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night featuring a special Red vs. Blue Shootout at halftime of the women's game featuring members of the ICC faculty and staff coached by former ICC basketball coaches Carrie Ball-Williamson and Marty Cooper.

"There are so many great individuals that do an outstanding job making ICC such a special place," said ICC Foundation Director Jim Ingram. "It's the least we can to do honor all the countless hours of hard work and dedication they give the college and let them have some fun at the same time."

In addition, ICC will also recognize the freshman that are part of the P.A.C.E program. All freshmen are encouraged to wear red and to sit behind basket on the side of the floor opposite of the ICC All-American Band.

Donations will be accepted with all proceeds going towards local Breast Cancer Awareness programs.
