FULTON, MS – For the second time this season freshman guard Jayla Chills has been selected as the MACJC Women's Player of the Week.

Chills (Ripley) averaged 16 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals, 2.5 assists, and 1 block per game to help the Lady Indians defeat Northwest Mississippi Community College and Holmes Community College to remain unbeaten in North Division play.  

She scored 17 points and grabbed 5 rebounds and 3 steals while hitting 5-of-14 from the floor, including going 3-of-6 from the three-point line and hitting 4-of-4 from the free throw line in the Lady Indians' 71-64 road win over the Lady Rangers of Northwest.

Chills scored 15 points while adding 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocks while connecting on 4-of-12 shooting, including 1-of-3 from three and hitting on all six of her attempts from the charity stripe in ICC's 70-54 win over the Holmes Lady Bulldogs.

The Lady Indians are currently 8-6 and 4-0 in MACJC North Division play as they are set to host East Mississippi Community College on Tuesday before closing out the week with a road trip to Mississippi Delta Community College on Thursday.
