Fulton, MS - Jayla Chills (Ripley) scored a game-high 15 points while Lytia Coleman (Memphis, TN) recorded her fifth double-double of the season in the Lady Indians' 70-54 win over the Lady Bulldogs.

"I felt like we played much better defensively than we have over the past few weeks," Coach Gray commented on the 22 turnovers the Lady Indians forced in the win. "Hopefully this will be the start of us being able to put the pieces of the puzzle together as a team."

Coleman scored 13 points and tied her season-high with 14 rebounds to help the Lady Indians improve to 8-6 and 4-0 in division play.

"Coach really challenged me this week to step up my game," said Coleman. "I was really focused on being a more complete player by giving a better effort defensively and on the boards to be able to contribute more than just a scorer for the team."

Carmesha Nalls paced four players scoring in double digits with 13 points for the Lady Bulldogs.
