
WESSON, MS - The Indians dropped an 8-0 decision to No. 3 Co-Lin 8-0 in five innings on Sunday afternoon.
The Lady Wolves took control of the game in the third inning, scoring six runs on three hits and two errors by the Indians. C0-Lin added two more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning on a two-run single to seal the victory.
Alyssa Clifft was the pitcher of record for ICC, allowing six runs, two of which were earned, on five hits over two and two-thirds innings. Clifft also struck out two batters and did not issue any walks. Ella Lilly came in for relief, giving up two earned runs on four hits in two innings of work.
Laklyn Nichols led the team with two hits, a walk, and two stolen bases in the contest.
The Indians will now face the loser of the matchup between No. 11 Northeast and No. 13 Northwest in an elimination game at 4 p.m. on Monday.
