Sophomore pitcher Alyssa Clifft has been named to the 2025 NFCA NJCAA Division II All-Region Second Team, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced.
Two standout players from Itawamba Community College’s 2025 softball team have been honored with postseason recognition from the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC). Sophomore pitcher Alyssa Clifft was named to the All-MACCC First Team, while freshman designated hitter AB Marlar earned All-MACCC Honorable Mention.
The Indians saw their 2025 campaign come to an end in the Region 23 Tournament with an 8-2 loss to No. 11 Northeast Mississippi, wrapping up the year at 30-21 overall and 14-14 in MACCC play.
The Indians (29-19) will face East Central (24-18) Saturday, May 2, at 5 p.m. at Co-Lin Community College. The tournament was original scheduled to start on Thursday, but was pushed back to Saturday due to weather concerns.
