Wolfe, Turner sign to continue softball careers

FULTON, Miss – Avery Wolfe and Hallie Turner signed to continue their softball careers after their sophomores seasons are done in Fulton. Wolfe will stay in state and play at Belhaven University while Turner will head to Delaware to play at Goldey-Beacom College.

Wolfe, an infielder from Hernando, was second on the team with a .408 batting average as a freshman. She had 12 RBI and 12 runs scored while connecting for 20 hits in 49 at-bats with seven doubles and one triple.

Belhaven is a DIII program located in Jackson and is a member of the Collegiate Conference of the South.

Turner, a pitcher and infielder from Southaven, went 6-2 inside the circle with 53 strikeouts and a 2.54 ERA in 60.2 innings pitched. She scored seven run and had five hits with one triple and two RBI in limited plate appearances.

Goldey-Beacom is a DII program located in Wilmington, DE and is a member of the Central Atlantic collegiate Conference.
