LSU Eunice scored one run on two hits in the bottom of the frame to extend their lead back to three runs, 5-2.

In the final inning, Boatner scored again as Henry reached on another error, but the Indians were unable to put together a comeback, falling 5-3 and closing the books on the 2022 season.

The Indians finish the season with a 38-11 record and were ranked in the Top 10 nationally all season, including the program's first ever No. 1 ranking.
