The starting centerfielder finished with a .981 fielding percentage and recorded 45 putouts, six assists and one double play.
Earlier this month, Patterson signed to continue her softball career with the University of North Alabama. She earned conference Player of the Week honors once during the regular season.
She continues ICC's streak of having a conference Player or Pitcher of the Year since 2017 but is the first to be named Player of the Year since Alex Brown in 2017. The last three in the streak were Pitchers of the Year, Bailie Springfield (2018), Olive Burns (2019) and Emily Robinson (2021).
Patterson and the Indians' season came to an end at the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament earlier today, but they finished the season with a 38-11 record and earned the program's first-ever No. 1 ranking earlier this season.
