Ellisville, Miss. - In a Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Tournament quarterfinal game, No. 6 ICC dropped a 5-1 decision to No. 5 Co-Lin Thursday.
The Indians (38-8) got out of a bases loaded jam in the opening frame, but the Wolves were able to plate three runs in the top of the second on two hits and an error.
Co-Lin added a run to their lead in the fourth on two hits and scored their final run on a solo home run the top of the seventh.
Kara Hays (Mooreville) started the bottom half of the seventh with a single and later scored on a ground out to the right side of the field.
The Indians were held to two hits in the contest with Haylee Alberson (Hernando) getting a single in the second.
Friday, the Indians will face No. 13 Northwest in an elimination game at 11 a.m. in Ellisville. The game will be available on jcjc.tv.
