Fulton, Miss. - Three Itawamba Community College Indians earned All-Region honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Monday.
Freshman pitcher Emily Robinson (Springville, Ala.) was selected First Team South Region while freshman right fielder Katie Rutledge (Manchester, Tenn.) and sophomore center fielder McKenzie Patterson (Corinth) were named to the Second Team South Region.
Robinson, who was named conference Pitcher of the Year last week, finished 2021 with a 9-3 record, 1.58 ERA, 87 strikeouts and a nation-leading nine saves.
Rutledge had a team-best .424 batting average, and she also led the team with 67 hits, 10 doubles and 3 triples.
Patterson led the team with 26 stolen bases, 65 runs scored, .457 on-base percentage and .556 slugging percentage.
The trio was instrumental in the Indians' regular season conference championship, conference tournament runner-up, a trip to the Region 23 Tournament, a 36-9 overall record and a 25-3 conference record.
