FULTON, Miss. – Coach Andy Kirk announced that Saturday's Indians' Prospect Camp scheduled for Saturday has been postponed due to inclement weather expected throughout the area.
The camp has been moved to Sunday, August 26 and registration will be reopened for limited spots that become available due to the rescheduling.
The one-day event will provide each camper the opportunity to show their skill in all aspects of hitting, fielding, base running and live game situations. Each prospect must bring their own softball equipment, including but not limited to: gloves, bats, helmets, tennis shoes, cleats and any other equipment necessary to compete.
The camp is scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. at the ICC Softball Complex. Registration is set for 9:00 a.m. and cost of $70 per camper. The camp is limited to the first 50 campers and advanced registrations is required.
