FULTON, Miss. - Itawamba Community College is the site for the 2018 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 23 Softball Tournament May 10-12 at the ICC Softball Complex on the Fulton campus. The No. 3 Indians finished runner-up in the MACJC Tournament to host this year's tournament. The 2019 region tournament will be hosted by LSU-Eunice.
IMPORTANT TRAVEL NOTICE: ICC will be hosting its Nursing Pinning Ceremony at 6:00 p.m. Friday and Commencement Ceremonies at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Please plan accordingly to allow yourself extra travel time in the event that traffic is heavier than normal around campus. Parking and field location is given in the general information below. We ask that you please me mindful and considerate of the extra foot traffic when arriving on campus.
SCHEDULE: The opening day of the four-team, double-elimination tournament is scheduled to begin Thursday, May 10 at 4:00 p.m. with two-seed No. 2 LSU-Eunice (44-16) taking on tournament host three-seed No. 3 ICC (41-9) with one-seed No. 4 Jones County Junior College (46-3) and four-seed No. 10 East Central Community College (35-12) squaring off at 6:00 in the nightcap. The winner from the LSUE and ICC game will face the winner from the Jones and East Central game in the winner's bracket semifinal game. The losers from Thursday will play in the first elimination game of the tournament at 3:00 with the winner of that game facing the loser from the winner's bracket game in a second elimination game at 5:00. If games run longer than expected, there will be 30 minutes between each game.

The top two teams will advance to the NJCAA Division II Softball National Tournament at Traceway Park in Clinton, Mississippi May 16-19.
ADMISSION: Admission to the tournament will be $5.00 each day and will be collected at the gate. Only individuals with a proper MACJC passes, LSU-Eunice administration or athletic staff, and ICC students, faculty, and staff members presenting their ID at the gate will get free admission.
PARKING: Parking at the 2018 MACJC Softball Tournament will be free.
