FULTON, Miss. - Itawamba Community College is the site for the 2018 Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Softball Tournament May 4-6 at the ICC Softball Complex on the Fulton campus. The No. 3 Indians finished the regular season with a 39-7 overall record and a 26-2 mark inside conference play to secure the regular season championship and the right to host this weekend's tournament.

UPDATED SCHEDULE: The opening day of the four-team, double-elimination tournament is scheduled to begin Friday, May 4 at 4:00 p.m. with ICC facing Pearl River and conclude at 6:00 p.m. with Jones County and East Central in the nightcap. Day 2 of the tournament will feature three games scheduled for 1:00, 3:00, and 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 6. The championship game is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 7. Should the team advancing from the loser's bracket win, the 'if necessary' game is tentatively scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. All games will be streamed in HD on LetsGoICCTV.com.

The top three teams will advance to next week's National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 23 Tournament. No. 2 LSU-Eunice will join the four-team, double-elimination tournament. The highest-seeded team left standing from the MACJC tournament will host the region tournament - minus Jones County, who cannot host after hosting the region tournament last season per region rules. LSU-Eunice will be the host for the 2019 tournament.
ADMISSION: Admission to the tournament will be $5.00 each day and will be collected at the gate. Only individuals with a proper MACJC pass along with ICC students, faculty, and staff members presenting their ID at the gate will get free admission.
PARKING: Parking at the 2018 MACJC Softball Tournament will be free.
