No. 14 Indians roll to victory over Delta, 21-1

MOORHEAD, MS – The No. 14 Indians scored 12 runs in the top of the fifth inning to pull away for a 21-1 victory in Game 1 over Mississippi Delta Community College on Tuesday.

Mamie Hollenhead (Mathiston) went four for four with two doubles, five runs scored, and five RBI in the win. Bre Harford (Southaven), Kaitlyn Rhodes (Alexandria, AL), and McKenzie Piper (Pell City, AL) each had two hits in the Indians 20-hit performance.

Grayson Wells (Greenwood) gave up one run on five hits while striking out one of 20 batters faced to improve to 4-1 on the year.
