No. 12 Indians sweep Coahoma, 15-4

FULTON, MS – Powered by a seven-run bottom of the third inning, the No. 12 Indians completed its sweep of Coahoma Community College with a 17-4 win in five innings in the nightcap of the Breast Cancer Awareness Series on Tuesday.

Alex Brown (Pontotoc) got the offense rolling with a solo home run in the Indian's first at-bat of the game before finishing the game with a RBI double in the bottom of the third.

Mamie Hollenhead (Mathiston) capped off four for four performance in the first game of the day by going three for three with a pair of doubles, three runs, and four RBI in the finale.

McKenzie Piper (Pell City) went two for three with three runs scored and a RBI. The Pell City, AL native made her first appearance in the circle and gave up no runs on one hit and struck out one of the four batters she faced.

Caroline Dickins (Batesville) struck out four of nine batters face while giving up no hits in one inning of scoreless work.
