FULTON, MS – Mamie Hollenhead (Mathiston) and Meg Sullivan (Springville, AL) both went yard in the Indians' 5-3 win over No. 16 Northeast Mississippi Community College on Tuesday.

Hollenhead smashed a grand slam to left field to give the Indians a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the third inning. Maura Jane Autry (Holly Springs) got the inning started with a double off the fence before Alex Brown (Pontotoc) and Meg Sullivan (Springville, AL) both reached on back-to-back walks to load the bases for Hollenhead's heroics.

Leading 4-1, Sullivan belted a home run to center field to give the Indians a 5-1 lead in the bottom of the fifth.

The Tigers answered with a pair of runs in the top of the seventh and put the tying run on first base before Mills coaxed the final batter into a ground ball to Hollenhead to shut the door on the rally.

Hollenhead had a triple to be the only Indian with multiple hits in the contest.

Mills surrendered three earned runs on four hits while striking out five in the complete game victory.
