FULTON, MS – The Indians were swept at home for the first time since April of 2015 when the Jackson State (TN) Community College Generals picked a 10-5 win in the nightcap on Saturday.

The Generals used a four-run fifth and a three-run seventh inning to complete the sweep of the Indians.

Hannah Williams (Philadelphia) went 2 for 4 with a double and two runs scored. Mamie Hollenhead (Mathiston) added a two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh, but it wasn't enough to spark a late-game rally for the Indians.

Caroline Dickins (Batesville) was the pitcher of record after giving up three earned runs on four hits and three walks while striking out five in 4.2 innings of work.

The last time the Indians were swept at home was in the MACJC Best of Three series against the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Bulldogs, who defeated ICC 6-3 on Friday, April 24 and completed the sweep with a 6-4 win on Sunday, April 26.

ICC will travel to Marion Military on Saturday, March 4 before returning to Fulton to host Calhoun (AL) Community College on Tuesday, March 7.
