Indians beat Chattanooga State, 4-0

BOAZ, AL – In a battle of two nationally-ranked programs, the Indians picked up an impressive 4-0 win over Chattanooga State (TN) Community College on Friday.
McKenzie Piper (Pell City, AL) with 2 for 3 with a double and two RBI while Alex Brown (Pontotoc) went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and two RBI to help lead the Indians to victory. Kaitlyn Rhodes (Alexandria, AL) and Cori Childs (New Site) each added a single to the Indians' six hits.
Caroline Dickins (Batesville) scattered three hits and two walks while striking out three in seven innings of scoreless work to move to 3-1 on the year.
