Indians open season with impressive win at Jackson State

JACKSON, TN – The No. 8 Indians got the season off on the right foot with an impressive 11-2 victory at Jackson State (TN) Community College on Saturday.
Alex Brown (Pontotoc) went 2 for 2 with a pair of doubles and four RBI to lead the Indians at the plate. Mamie Hollenhead (Mathiston) added a pair of hits and three RBI while Kaitlyn Rhodes (Alexandria, AL) drove in two more runs on a single.
Carleigh Mills (Corinth) gave up two runs on four hits with six strikeouts in the complete game victory.
