DECATUR, AL – Game two of Itawamba Community College's doubleheader at Calhoun Community College was cut short just after sundown Wednesday. As darkness fell on the field, the umpires called the game after six innings, giving ICC the 3-2 win to complete the sweep.

The Indians (15-2) struck first in game two when Mamie Hollenhead (Mathiston) ripped a single to score Kaitlin Bradley (Columbus) in the top of the third. The lead would be short lived as the Lady Warhawks answered with two runs in the bottom half of the inning.

After a quick fourth inning, the Indians tied the contest at 2-2 on a Taylor Blevins (Columbus) single that plated Hollenhead.

In the top of the sixth, the Indians benefitted from a Lady Warhawk mistake as Lane Kennedy (Smithville) scored the go ahead and eventual winning run after a throwing error.

Leading 3-2, the Indians got a shut down inning from Carleigh Mills (Corinth) to end the inning and complete the sweep.

Mills picked up her sixth win of the season.

The Indians swept the Lady Warhawks this season winning all four contest.
