BOONEVILLE, MS - Carleigh Mills (Corinth) lead Itawamba Community College to an upset win over No. 20 Jefferson College in their second game of Northeast Mississippi Community College's Tigerfest with a complete game shutout Saturday.

Jefferson's Shelby Clark and Mills were locked in a pitcher's duel right from the beginning with only one hit a piece over the first four frames. However, Clark's first hit allowed was solo shot to Indian centerfield by freshman Alex Brown (Pontotoc) in the bottom of the fourth.

Brown's homer would have been enough for the Indians (8-2) to pick up the victory, but a sacrifice bunt by Mamie Hollenhead (Mathiston) scored Brown in the bottom of the sixth for an insurance run.

The Vikings (1-4) scattered three hits in the contest, but Mills and the Indian defense were able to preserve the shutout and pick up the 2-0 victory.

Mills finished with four strikeouts and allowed three hits in seven innings of work.
