FULTON, MS – Sophomores Autumn Bonner and Maddy Lukens have signed a National Letters of Intent to continue their softball careers next season.

Bonner signed with Stillman College while Lukens will make history being part of the first-ever softball team at Converse College.

Bonner hit .238 with 23 RBI, 11 runs, one stolen bases and two home runs last season highlighted by a grand slam in the first round of playoffs. She spent most of her time behind the plate but saw action at first base as well and finished with a .984 fielding percentage.

The Fayette, AL native will join the Lady Tigers who finished 24-17 last season and advanced to the final day of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Championship Tournament.

Stillman College is a NCAA Division II school located in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Lukens batted .255 with 11 RBI, 15 runs, two stolen bases and a pair of doubles while finishing the season with a .941 fielding percentage at third base.

The Saltillo native will join the Valkyries who will open their inaugural season in February of 2016. The Spartanburg, South Carolina Division II program is a member of the Conference Carolinas.

In their two years at ICC, Bonner and Lukens helped the Indians win 69 games and extended their MACJC North Division championship streak to four-straight years after earning a split of the division title last season.

Five members from last season's softball team have signed to continue their careers as student-athletes next season.
