FULTON, MS – Freshman outfielder Courtney Roberts has been named to the 2015 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II All-South Region when the organization released its yearly honors.

The Hatley native led the Lady Indians in seven offensive categories including hitting for a team-high .420 with 11 doubles, six triples, four home runs, and 40 RBI while earning Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) North Division Most Valuable Player and Best Offensive Player along with two conference Player of the Week and NJCAA National Player of the Week honors.

Roberts is the third Lady Indian to earn NFCA All-South Region honors joining 2013 graduate and Blue Mountain College pitcher Rebecca Sloan (Oneonta, AL) and 2014 NFCA All-American selection and Delta State University third baseman Kory Watterson (Nesbit).

All first team selections will be eligible for NFCA All-American honors, which are expected to be announced in early June.
