FULTON, MS - The Lady Indians won their fourth-straight after a pair of shutout wins over Jackson State on Monday.

Game 1 - Lady Indians 4 Jackson State 0

The Lady Indians only managed four hits in the first game of the day with Cara Hopper (Caledonia) driving in a pair of runs and scoring two more after going 2-for-3 with a double and a triple in the 4-0 win.

Catherine Carver (Hernando) and Emilee Henderson (Burnsville) each had single in the win.

Hannah Johnson (Branson, MO) threw a complete game shutout after giving up two hits and three walks while striking out four.

Game 2 - Lady Indians 8 Jackson State 0 (5 innings)

Carver went 1-for-2 with a home run as the Lady Indians run-ruled Jackson State 8-0 in five innings to complete the sweep.

Henderson, Hopper and Ashley Langford (Caledonia) each doubled in the game while Kory Watterson (Nesbit) and Autumn Bonner (Fayette, AL) drove in a pair of runs with a single as the Lady Indians had 7 hits in Game 2.

Hopper got the win striking out five and scattering two hits in 4.1 innings of work.
