Lady Indians run-rule Hinds to earn sweep, 11-1

FULTON, MS - The Lady Indians closed out their home opener in fashion with an 11-1 five-inning win over Hinds on Sunday.
Haley Moore (Booneville) went 2-for-3 with a two-run double and scored a pair of runs while Ashley Langford (Caledonia) went 2-for-3 and drove in three runs with Rachel Elder (Guntown) going 2-for-2 and scored a pair of runs in the win.
The Lady Indians had 10 RBIs on 11 hits with Emilee Henderson (Burnsville) pushing across a run on a double and Kory Watterson (Nesbit) driving in a pair of runs on another double.
Hanah Johnson (Branson, MO) picked up her second win of the season after giving up an earned run on four hits and striking out three in the complete game.
