FULTON, MS - Kory Watterson (Nesbit) was a triple away from hitting for the cycle, but a 5-run third inning proved too much for the Lady Indians to overcome as Calhoun Community College completed the sweep with a 10-4 win in the final game of the Tuesday doubleheader.

The Lady Warhawks scored 4 in the top of the first, but the Lady Indians (3-3, 0-0 MACJC North) answered with a pair of runs in the bottom half of the inning when Catherine Carver (Hernando) singled and scored on a homer by Watterson.

Trailing 10-2, the Lady Indians avoid the mercy rule when Carver walked and scored on a sac fly by Cara Hopper (Caldeonia).

ICC once again tried to mount a comeback in the bottom of the seventh.

Haley Moore (Booneville) reached on a fielder's choice and stole her seventh base of the season before scoring on double by Watterson. ICC had runners on second and third, but a fly out to right allowed Calhoun to hold on for the win.

Laken Shakle (Bruce) had a double while Watterson and Ashley Bonner (Fayette, AL) added a single as part of the six hits for the Lady Indians.
