FULTON, MS – For the second-straight season Itawamba Community College sophomore outfielder Jessi Patterson (Nettleton) has been named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Region 23 team.

Patterson batted .333 with a .397 on-base percentage and .591 slugging percentage in her final season in Fulton.

She led the team in home runs (9) for the second-straight season and drove in a team-best 37 runs while scoring 20 runs on 44 hits, seven going for extra bases, with 13 walks and 19 strikeouts in 132 at bats to go along with five stolen bases this season.

Defensively, the 2012 NJCAA All-American had a .925 fielding percentage with only three errors in 40 total chances with 36 put outs and one assists this season.

Patterson was also named to the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) North Division First Team during her sophomore campaign and will be eligible for 2013 NJCAA All-American honors.

The Lady Indians (31-15-1; 18-6 MACJC North) won their second-straight MACJC North Division title to advance to the MACJC State Tournament as one of the top two seeds for the sixth-straight season and make the program's fourth NJCAA Region 23 tournament appearance.
