FULTON, MS -- Trailing 4-1 after four innings of play, the Lady Indians rattled off three runs in the bottom of the fifth and four more in the sixth to rally for the come-from-behind 8-7 Game 1 victory over Jackson State (TN) Community College on Tuesday.

Kory Watterson (Nesbit) got things going with a single to center to start the bottom of the sixth and was replaced on the bases by Montana Hawkins (Sulligent, AL) and advanced to second on a wild pitch before Emilee Henderson (Burnsville) drew a seven-pitch walk.

The Lady Indians took an 8-7 lead when Lauren Lewis (Mooreville), running for Jones, scored on a ground out by Catherine Carver (Hernando).

Rebecca Sloan (Woodland, AL) re-entered the game in place of relief pitch Dani Taylor (Myrtle) to get a three up, three down top of the seventh to earn her first save of the season and secure Taylor's second win.

Camp finished the game going 2-for-3 with two runs while Carver added three RBI in the victory.
