Indians stay at No. 20 in latest ITA rankings

FULTON, Miss. – The men's tennis team is ranked 20th in the second Oracel/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) JUCO Men's Tennis Rankings of the season.

The Indians (4-3) dropped a 9-0 decision to No. 6 Seminole State College (Okla.) on Thursday and will return to action against Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College on Friday, March 23 and Jones County Junior College on Saturday, March 24.

Out their seven opponents, ICC has faced five ranked teams and earned a 6-3 wins over #22 Jones County Junior College and #23 Wallace State (Ala.) Community College in Hanceville.

Other MACJC programs joining the Indians in the ITA rankings include: No. 10 Meridian Community College; No. 13 Gulf Coast; No. 15 Hinds Community College; No. 19 Copiah-Lincoln Community College; and No. 25 Jones County.

The next rankings are scheduled to come out on Thursday, April 19 when the Indians open the MACJC and NJCAA Region 23 Tournament in Meridian. The final rankings of the season will be released on Thursday, May 24.
