After posting a 9-3 record while winning the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 23 titles and advancing to the NJCAA National Tennis Tournament in Plano, Texas, the Indians finished the season with their highest-ever final ranking at No. 13 in the nation.

The Indians previous highest final ranking was No. 14 in 2006.

Sophomore Nathaniel Pinkney (Southaven) earned the highest national ranking amongst MACJC player at the No. 22 in singles and teamed up with fellow sophomore Cody Coins (Millington, TN) to form the state's highest ranked doubles due taking the No. 13 spot nationally.

Pinkney, who also finished his freshman season as the No. 22 singles player in the nation, is the 12th Indian to earn a Top 50 national ranking while teaming up to become the 14th duo to earn a spot in the nation's Top 50 doubles duos since 2005.

The Indians have earned a Top 20 final ranking 13 out of the last 14 seasons after just missing the Top 20 with a No. 22 ranking in 2013.

The ITA is a non-profit service organization which serves as the governing body of collegiate tennis in the United States.
