PLANO, TX – The last time the ICC men's tennis team took the court, the Indians brought home the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 23 title.

Coach Paul Johnson and the Indians got a taste of this week's competition earlier this season when they faced the NJCAA's top-ranked player Guy Iradukunda and No. 3 Seminole State College (OK) in Meridian to open the season.
In total, the Indians went 3-3 against six teams ranked in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Top 25 during the regular season.
45th-ranked Nathaniel Pinkney (Southaven) will lead ICC into this week's tournament.
Pinkney will be participating in No. 1 singles play while teaming up with Cody Coins (Millington, TN) in the No. 1 doubles bracket.
No. 5 singles participant Mark Robbins (New Albany) and No. 6 singles player Joseph Summers (Amory) will look to build on their singles championships along with their No. 3 doubles titles.
