Fulton, MS – The phrase "schedule change" could very well be one of the top trending topics in Fulton.
Coach Paul Johnson announced both the Lady Indians' and Indians' home opener against Jones County Junior College was postponed due to less-than-ideal playing conditions on Monday.
The Indians entered the season ranked No. 20 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) before dropping their opening matches of the season against No. 5 Seminole State College (OK) and No. 13 Marion Military Institute (AL).
The Indians bounced back to pick up a 9-0 victory over Northeast Mississippi Community College and the Lady Indians completed the sweep with an 8-1 victory over the rivals from Booneville to open the season.
