Indians drop 4-2 decision to No. 5 Jones

ELLISVILLE - The Indians dropped a tough road test against No. 5 Jones, 4-2.

About two and a half minutes into the contest, Jones struck the first goal of the afternoon. It was around the 12th minute when Ian Thomas (Olive Branch) found the equalizer for the Indians off a goal assisted by Russell Brown (New Orleans, La.).

After Jones hit their second goal a while later, the Indians did so too when Brown evened the score at 2-2 in the 26th minute off a penalty kick. But the Bobcats went on to score two unanswered goals to mark the game's final score at 4-2.

Christian Mahan (Southaven) finished the game with seven saves and four goals allowed.
