Indians fall to Gulf Coast in Quarterfinals

FULTON, Miss. – The Indians' season came to a much earlier end than they had hoped after dropping a 2-0 decision to Gulf Coast in the MACJC Quarterfinals on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs caught a break in the 20th minute when Griffin Bush was in the right spot at the right time when he found the back off the net after a save deflected to Bush to make it a 1-0 contest.

The Indians couldn't find the equalizer and went into the break down 1-0.

Both teams battled through a physical contest before Christian Inchima gave the Bulldogs some breathing room with a goal in the 87th minute to help Gulf Coast advance to the semifinals at Hinds on Saturday.

ICC finished the season 10-5 and second place in the North with a 6-2 record.
