Clayton O’Daniel named Conference Player of the Week

Fulton, Miss. – After a hat trick and a pair of assists ICC's Clayton O'Daniel earned Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Player of the Week honors.

The sophomore striker from Tupelo helped the Indians wrap up the regular season with a pair of wins over Northwest and Meridian last week.

Against Northwest, O'Daniel had two assists in the 4-0 victory Thursday, and then scored all three of the Indians' goals Friday in the 3-2 win over Meridian.

O'Daniel, who has nine goals, eight assists and 26 points this season, will now be eligible for National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Player of the Week honors that will be released later this week.

The Indians will host Mississippi Gulf Coast Wednesday, Oct. 22 in the MACJC quarterfinals beginning at 12:30 p.m. in Fulton. The game will be available on LetsGoICCTV.com/red (weather permitting).
