ELLISVILLE, Miss – The Indians left it all on the pitch in their 2-1 season-ending loss to host Jones College in the semifinals of the MACJC tournament.
How it Happened
Ryan Parker (Brisbane, Australia) scored off an assist from Luan Balestieri (Rio Grande, Brazil) in the 60th minute.
Justis Casey found the equalizer off an assist from Adrian Mondragon in the 67th minute.
Mondragon put the Bobcats ahead in the 86th minute.
The Indians put the potential tying shot on frame in the final seconds of the match but a great save by Jones kept the match from going into overtime.
Editor's Note: Jones defeated Southwest 2-1 in overtime to claim the MACJC Championship and finished runner-up in the NJCAA Region 23 after LSU-Eunice edged the Bobcats, 4-2, in penalty kicks.
