Bogle signs with Birmingham-Southern

FULTON, Miss. – Sophomore midfielder Colby Bogle (Tupelo) signed his letter of intent to continue his soccer career at Birmingham-Southern College on Monday.

Bogle played two seasons for Coach Mike Sullivan and the Indians. Last season, he had three goals and two assists to help the Indians finish 9-7-1 on the season, earned a share of the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) North Division championship and advance to the MACJC Tournament semifinals. He also was named to the MACJC North All-Star team.

As a freshman, he scored one goal and had two assists.

The Panthers went 6-8-2 last season and were eliminated from the playoffs in the quarterfinal round of the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) tournament in Danville, Kentucky.
