FULTON, Miss. – The Indians notched their first win of the season with an impressive 8-0 victory over Meridian Tuesday.
The Indians (1-2-0) picked a pair of goals from Luis Garcia (Olive Branch), Austin Rowell (Amory), and Brendan Koehn (Amory) with Colby Bogle (Tupelo) and Chase Huddleston (Tupelo) each adding a goal to the victory.
Rowell, Logan Little (Tupelo), Luan Balestieri (Rio Grande, Brazil), Jake Kirkpatrick (Amory), and Alexis Resendiz (Horn Lake) each added an assist to the match.
Keepers Brandon White (Tupelo) and Bailey Jones (Horn Lake) combined for the shutout.
The Lady Indians will host Hinds at 4:00 on Friday.
