Indians season ends with heartbreaking overtime loss to Northwest

SENATOBIA, MS – The MACJC North Division match between Itawamba Community College's men's soccer team and Northwest Mississippi Community College was everything a winning take all match is supposed to be with both squads playing hard and with intensity until the end.
A game with so much on the line couldn't be settled in 90 minutes as the Indians and Rangers went to overtime knotted at 1-1. However, at the end the Indians saw their season come to a heartbreaking close with a 2-1 loss in overtime.
The Indians (8-8, 3-5 MACJC North) struck first at the 35th minute when Cameron O'Daniel (Tupelo) beat the keeper.
Northwest tied the contest early in the second half and drove home the overtime game winner at the 92nd minute to earn a spot in the MACJC Playoffs.
